CASE INFORMATION
This was SJGR's first visit to this historic Quaker school in Northeast
Philadelphia. The
Frankford Friends School has been educating students since 1833,
from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade, and is still using the
original Meeting House building from 1833.
After the investigation,
it was found that there were several
similarities in the psychic impressions separately reported by members
of different teams. Two investigators sensed the presence of a young
boy in the main room of the school, possibly named either ‘Marshall” or
“Matthew”. A third investigator also reported the energy of a small
child in this area, but did not specify a name or gender.
Investigators also reported either seeing or sensing adult males &
females in both the basement and main room of the schoolhouse. One
investigator thought the young boy was trying to convey the name of his
mother & that the name began with the letter “A”, while another
investigator reported the impression of a young female in the basement
by the name or “Allison” or “Alice”. In addition, these two
investigators also independently reported a male presence in both the
basement and balcony. The male on the balcony gave the impression of
the name “Eddie”, while the male in the basement crawlspace also gave
the impression of an “E” name. It is unknown if these are separate
entities, or perhaps a single male & single female spirit who was
moving from one area of the building to another.
The physical evidence collected consisted of 14 EVPs, some of which appear to interact with
investigators and their questions, and 35 positive photos
with anomalies in them. Slightly more than the average of 4 to 6%, 7%
of the photos and video obtained contained energy orbs, which may be
one indication of spirit activity, and some photos correspond to events
investigators were experiencing at the time the photo was taken.
There was no anomalous EMF, motion
sensor, or temperature
readings obtained during the investigation.
