Mt Moriah Cemetery Memorial Day Clean Up 2002

Mt Moriah is located in Philadelphia, PA. It dates back to the mid 1800's and is the final resting place of 1000's of the areas citizens. The cemetery also has various military plots where veterans of the Civil War to Vietnam rest in peace. It was once the site of Besty Ross's grave until it was relocated to it's current location in the yard of her home. SJGR assisted the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War by helping them place flags on the over 4000 veteran graves located throughout this huge cemetery.
